“Ashtarak-Kat” CJSC is one of the leading producers of high quality dairy and ice cream products in the Republic of Armenia.
The company was established in August 1995 on the basis of the cheese plant in the village Agarak, Aragotsotni region. The company provides its consumer with the opportunity to consume unique and healthy milk. The uniqueness of the milk is that it is collected at an altitude of 2000 meters and more in the alpine meadows of Armenia's distant regions. These regions are known well for their virgin nature, pure land, clean mountainous air, enriched by ozone from frequent rains and the cold sweet water of Armenian mountains.
As a result of Company's focus on customer, quality and ecological stewardship it has received a distinguished award Quality Mark from the Government of Armenia. To maintain high-quality fresh and healthy milk, the company has constructed milk collection stations in all ten regions of Armenia: Aragatsotni, Lori, Shirak, Gegharkunik, Syunik etc.. The collection stations are marked by perfect cleanness, technical laboratory equipment and qualified specialists.
Ashtarak-Kat cooperates with 5500 farms, located in 550 villages of the Republic of Armenia. Because of this cooperative relationship, the number of the farms grows from year to year, creating employment opportunities.
An effective infrastructure of distribution system allows the sale of a wide range of products in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Georgian markets. The Company constantly invests it's profits in Research & Development, modern equipment, personnel training and management system development.
