Events  Revolution day of Egypt.23-07-2008 “Ashtarak-Kat” CJSC congratulated the ambassador of Egypt in Armenia Vaad Jalal with Revolution Day.The revolution day is the main society feast of Egypt. It is celebrated on 23 of July, on the anniversary day of military revolution in 1952, when a secret organization of army officers led by Gamal Abdel Naser realized the revolution and overthrew feudal-monarchy regime of king Faruk. A year later monarchy was abolished in Egypt and it was proclaimed a Republic. Since then the 23rd of July is celebrated in Egypt as a “Victory Day”.
